PITTSBURGH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

With over a decade of experience photographing hundreds of weddings, I am confident that you will have the wedding photography experience that you’re dreaming of from start to finish. I’ve photographed at dozens of venues in Pittsburgh, Indiana, Johnstown, and destination locations and produce consistent, true-to-life colored images that are timeless, romantic, fun, whimsical, and most importantly, “you.” I work with you from the time you fill out my contact form all the way through the weeks after your wedding, helping you to stay organized each step of the way so you can have a stress-free wedding day. Once you contact me, we will get to know each other over a coffee or zoom, I’ll answer any questions along the way, we plan your engagement session, your family photo list, your wedding day timeline, and design your album together after it’s all said and done. Couples love working with a photographer that not only has the technical skill and experience to capture any venue in any light, but also one that has a personality they don’t mind spending every minute with during their wedding day! I’d be honored to be your wedding photographer!

Wedding FAQ

Q: How much does a wedding photographer cost?

A: Prices range greatly by area, but an experienced, professional wedding photographer should cost at least $2000.

Q: How much should I spend on wedding photography?

A: Wedding photos will be one of your biggest expenses other than your venue and catering.

Q:What is a good wedding photography budget?

A: Most seasoned professionals in the Pittsburgh area are between $5000 and $8000.

Q: Do you offer custom wedding photography packages?

A: I have packages that offer the bare minimum or go all-out, each with the chance to add on services like second shooters, DJ services, ceremony sound, officiating, engagement session, etc! Together we can build the perfect package for you.

Q: Do I need a second photographer?

A: Second shooters allow photography coverage of your big day to happen at two places simultaneously. If your fiancé is getting ready in the morning at a separate location from you, a second photographer can start the day there, allowing your main photographer to spend time with you uninterrupted. In addition, second photographers can get alternate angles of your ceremony, bridal portraits, and of course more candids at the reception! If your budget allows, it’s always a great idea! Read more about the pro’s and con’s here.

Q: How many wedding pictures do I get?

A: Depending on your guest count and just simply the amount of activity going on, you can expect anywhere from 50-75+ photos per hour of coverage.

Q: Is 6 hours of wedding photography enough?

A: If you are getting married at an all-inclusive venue (that means no one has to travel for separate parts of your wedding day), then 6 hours of coverage can be enough to cover a small amount of getting ready photos in the morning, your entire ceremony and portrait time, and the most important events during your reception if they are done at the beginning of the celebration.

Q: What do I need to do to hire a photographer?

A: Fill out my contact form, then I’ll email you some pricing details and request to meet. When we meet up, I’ll share more info about pricing and explain all package features and add ons. Then, you’ll put down a deposit at that meeting, then all parties electronically sign the contract.

Q: When do I have to pay a wedding vendor?

A: To book photography services with me, I ask that a deposit of $500 be made upon booking, and then we can do a payment plan with the frequency of your choosing to pay off the balance. Typically couples pay 50% of the package price 6 months before their wedding.
